Complete with an 89-horsepower (66.4 kW) GM 3.0L gas engine, the chipper is powered by a dependable electronic fuel injection (EFI) system. The BC1000XL also features a direct electronic pressure regulator that allows for greater control of fuel delivery, fuel economy and optimum combustion.
Able to chip heavily branched material up to 9” (23 cm) in diameter and 14” (35.5 cm) wide, the BC900XL is ideal for line clearing and general clean-up needs. In combination, the Vermeer exclusive SmartFeed system, and its 35 hp (26.1 kW) Briggs and Stratton Gas Engine, pulls in and processes difficult material.
The smallest machine in the Vermeer brush chipper line, the BC700XL design is based on operator feedback and focuses on productivity advantage and ease-of-use. The brush chipper features a centrifugal clutch system, 25 horsepower (18.6 kW) Kohler EFI engine, bottom feed stop bar and Vermeer exclusive SmartFeed feed-sensing control system.
